Hurt in an accident, or dealing
with a rejected work claim?

You don't need to work out where to start on your own. I'll tell you plainly whether you have a claim, what it's worth pursuing, and exactly what happens next: no jargon, no conveyor belt, no win, no fee.

Speaking with Suraj Shrikumar, Principal Solicitor, not a call centre, not a junior associate.

Why a solo practice

One solicitor. One point of contact. No handing off.

SC Lexys is deliberately a solo practice. It means the person who first hears your story is the same person who runs your file, negotiates on your behalf, and picks up the phone when you call, not whoever's free that day. For a claim that's already stressful enough, that consistency matters.

Common questions

Quick answers, straight up

My WorkCover claim was rejected. Is that the end of it?

No. A rejection can often be reviewed or appealed, and many rejected claims succeed on review. Get in touch and I'll look at the reasons given.

How long do I have to make a claim in Queensland?

Timelines vary by claim type, but the common law limitation period is generally 3 years from the date of injury. Don't wait to check.

What does "no win, no fee" actually mean here?

You pay nothing upfront, and nothing at all if the claim doesn't succeed. Full detail is set out plainly in the costs agreement before you commit to anything.
